Refund policy
Each garment at In May is crafted with exceptional love and care. We meticulously check every item to ensure it meets our high standards of quality. As we are a small business and create each item to order, we're unable to offer full refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, fit or for custom-made garments tailored specifically to your measurements. However, we do offer store credit or an exchange for your order or item in these situations.
If your garment arrives with a significant defect or fault, you are entitled to a choice of a refund or replacement. To qualify for a refund or an exchange, the item must still have all tags attached and remain unused and unwashed. Please initiate this process within 14 days of receiving your product.
Got the wrong size? We're more than happy to exchange your product for a different size, but please note that return shipping fees will not be covered by us. Alternatively, you can opt for an exchange with another product of the same value or receive a store credit. This also needs to be done within 14 days of receiving your product.
Please be advised that we are a made-to order brand! If you are wanting a garment for a specific date or event, please contact us before ordering to determine if they can be made and sent in time. We cannot offer refunds on items that arrive after your events due to our process, unless there is a majour fault or if the item is not sent before the deadline that was agreed upon contacting us.

In accordance to the Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to offer you a refund on items due to the fit, change of mind, wrong colour or wrong size.
